Inspired by Toby Love's 
Crunk Chata music and the Bachata Urbana movement, Island Touch has created a dance that enables you to express this new fusion of musical styles, CrunkChata.
CrunkChata the dance was born at the 2009 DC Bachata Congress when Island Touch's artistic masterminds, Ataca Jorgie and La Alemana put together a sexy and fun workshop that fused Bachata Urbana, Hip-Hop and Reggaeton.
The workshop was a huge success and when asked what type of dance this was, in Ataca's mind, no other word embodied the dance better than CrunkChata.
So what is CrunkChata dance?
CrunkChata is mostly footwork variations that can be danced naturally to hip-hop, R&B, bachata and reggaeton. With a focus on style and soul, CrunkChata has a broad appeal to young and old as it is a wonderful way to express oneself to the music dominating today's music charts, while staying connected in spirit to the Caribbean music and dances.
